Audioversum Science Center

AUDIOVERSUM is the interactive museum all about hearing in Innsbruck. As a Science Center it combines medicine, technology, education and art to create an acoustic world of experiences unique in Europe. In the main exhibition ADVENTURE HEARING visitors can explore the manifold functions of hearing. The exhibition concept is regularly expanded with changing special exhibitions: Under the headings "TO BE HEARD AND KNOWN” and "TO BE HEARD AND SEEN” the focus is on targeted knowledge transfer and contemporary formats. The contents of the special exhibitions are the sciences surrounding human beings and their sensory perceptions, as well as artistic creations related to human creativity and playful learning. The Science Center was initiated by MED-EL, the world's leading company for implantable hearing systems.
