proHolz Tirol ist der Verein der Tiroler
Forst- und Holzwirtschaft und gliedert
sich in die Geschäftsfelder Holzinforma-
tion, Holzcluster und Holzbaulehrstuhl.
Das firmenbezogene Geschäftsfeld Holz-
cluster zielt auf die horizontale und verti-
kale Vernetzung der Unternehmen, womit
ein hohes Maß an heimischer Wertschöp-
fung sichergestellt werden kann. Innova-
tions- und Kooperationsprojekte entlang
der Wertschöpfungskette Forst-Holz, die
Unterstützung bei der Markterschließung
sowie Qualifizierungsmaßnahmen sind
Schwerpunkte der Clustertätigkeit. Durch
den direkten Kontakt zur universitären
Holzforschung und -lehre wird ein effizi-
enter Wissens- und Technologietransfer
zwischen Forschung, Lehre und Wirt-
schaft forciert.
Projektbeschreibung
proHolz Tirol / Holzcluster initiiert und
forciert insbesondere Kooperationspro-
jekte zur Markterschließung und -bearbei-
tung, wie die exportorientierte Tischler-
gruppe "Baumstark" (www.baumstark.at),
den Verein "Holzfenster – natürlich aus
Tirol" (www.holzfenster-tirol.at), die Initi-
ative "Design in Tirol" (www.designintirol.
at), die Zirbenholz-Vermarktungsplatt-
form (www.zirbe.info) und die Zimme-
rerkooperation "htt15 – Holzbau Team
Tirol" (www.htt15.at). Innovations- und
F&E-Projekte, wie die Interreg Projekte
„Gebirgsholz“, „Designwerkstatt“ und
„facing:wood“, sowie die Projekte „Ökon-
flex“ und „FEHRA“ dienen der Bearbeitung
konkreter Branchenthemen.
proHolz Tirol, the association of the
Tyrolean forest and timber industry, is
organised into the three business units
"Holzinformation" (Marketing, PR, expert
wood advice), "Holzcluster" (Wood Cluster)
and "Holzbaulehrstuhl" (Timber Enginee-
ring Unit).
Tyrol‘s Wood Cluster aims to network
the Tyrolean forest and timber industries
to guarantee a high degree of local value
added. Emphasis is put on innovation and
cooperation projects along the value chain
to support market development as well
as qualification schemes. Direct contact
to university departments accelerate
the efficient knowledge and technology
transfer between research, teaching and
economy.

proHolz Tyrol / Tyrol‘s Wood Cluster
initiates and accelerates cooperation
projects for market development, such
as the export-oriented cooperation of
joinery companies called "Baumstark"
( www.baumstark.at), the association for
wooden windows "Holzfenster – natürlich
aus Tirol" (www.holzfenster-tirol.at), the
initiative "Design in Tirol" (www.designin-
tirol.at), the stone pine marketing platform
( www.zirbe.info)and the carpenter coope-
ration "htt15 – Holzbau Team Tirol" (www.
htt15.at). Innovation and R&D projects,
such as the Interreg projects “Gebirgsholz”,
„Designwerkstatt“ and „facing:wood“, as
well as projects such as „Ökonflex“ or
„FEHRA“ work on industry relevant issues.
