Ziele

Oncotyrol führt personalisierte Krebsme-
dizin an die Marktreife heran und bringt
dringend benötigte Innovation schneller
von der Laborbank ans Krankenbett. Das
Forschungszentrum basiert auf einer lang-
fristigen Partnerschaft zwischen öffentlichen
Forschungseinrichtungen, Kliniken und der
Privatwirtschaft. Ziel ist die Entwicklung und
Evaluierung von personalisierten Krebs-
therapien, Diagnostika und IT-Lösungen.
Erste Produkte und Services sind bereits auf
dem Markt. Oncotyrol wird im Rahmen des
COMET-Programms teils öffentlich, teils von
der Industrie finanziert.

Oncotyrol is introducing personalised cancer
medicine to the marketplace and bringing
urgently needed innovation faster from the
laboratory to patients‘ bedside. The research
centre is founded on a long-term partner-
ship between publich research institutes,
clinics and the private sector. Its goal is the
development and evaluation of personalised
cancer treatments, diagnostic agents and IT
solutions. The first products and services are
already on the market. Oncotyrol is funded
partly by public authorities partly by industry
within the scope of the COMET programme.
