EI Energy lndependence is an Austrian technology initiative with a global network. lts aim is to provide green hydrogen at favourable prices (less than USD 2/kg) and thus contribute to Europe's energy independence.
Founded in 2024, the company relies on proven technologies to minimise development risks. lt has developed the ENERGY-HARVESTER project - a mobile, integrated platform that optimises the use of wind energy. Thanks to its flexibility, it can move to locations with higher wind speeds depending on the weather, which increases the energy yield in relation to the operating costs. For example, energy production doubles when the wind speed increases from 8 m/s to 10 m/s. This achieves the target of 2 USD/kg hydrogen.
