Get READI to launch your second life!
BE-READI adapts start-up support services to the needs of mature SMEs in the Alpine Space and offers them a „second life“ by giving them access to new opportunities in an open innovation perspective.
Projekt goal
The overall objective of the project is to develop and test initiatives to develop a living laboratory that will encourage traditional SMEs to a second life by creating value chains that are broadened at alpine level and linked to value-added partnerships: digital innovation, private finance and research.
The project will run for 33 months and has a budget of EUR 1.8 million, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund through the INTERREG Alpine Space programme.

Professionalize the network of support agencies and connect their local ecosystems by structuring value-added services and synergetic services focusing on transnational cooperation and support for traditional companies with development potential;

Testing innovative methods and transnational matching solutions for the participating SMEs to enhance their opportunities and potential, assist them in planning to revitalize their business and build strategic partnerships

mobilize key stakeholders (policy makers, stakeholders) in setting an agenda.
Expected results
- Participation of 500 companies in the pilot actions
- Publishing an accreditation methodology to better qualify organizations to assist businesses
- Creation of a mentoring package for businesses;
- Involving qualified technical partners
- Develop a White Paper with proposals for strategic action
Project partners
BE-READI ALPS is supported by 14 partners from 11 regions of the Alpine Space (Veneto, Autonomous Province of Bolzano-Alto Adige, Lombardy, Styria, Vienna, Tyrol, Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Région Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, Canton Ticino)
The partners represent a wide range of actors: 5 Chambers of Commerce, 3 innovation agencies, 1 agency for internationalisation, 1 national finance agency, 1 university, 1 start-up, 2 companies specialised in attracting investment and supporting digitisation. The project is also supported by 14 observers who will actively participate in the project. The Observatory partners include 4 regional authorities, 2 national ministries, 1 university, 1 incubator, 1 public investment fund, 1 association of mountain communities and 4 representatives of the beneficiaries (intermediaries, companies and service providers).

Companies that have been active on the market for several years can participate in the project,

if they have an innovation challenge in one or more of the following aspects: internationalisation, innovation, digitisation and/or
-
have a project idea and would like to be accompanied and supported by the local BE-READI POINT or financial/digitisation providers during the implementation
