Data Protection Declaration
Standortagentur Tirol GmbH (hereinafter: Standortagentur Tirol), FN 507299d, Ing.-Etzel-Str. 17, 6020 Innsbruck, Tel. +43/(0)512/ 57 62 62, email: office@standort-tirol.at, represented by Managing Director Dr. Marcus Hofer, accepts responsibility for the processing of the data provided by you during your activity, in accordance with art. 4 Z7 of the General Data Protection Regulation DSGVO*).
Standortagentur Tirol has the following business object:
- Measures and subsidies to promote the economy and science, relating to potential entrepreneurs and Standortagentur Tirol
- Consulting and support services relating to selected support measures from the state of Tyrol, the federal government and the EU
The tasks of Standortagentur Tirol include in particular:
- Linking science and the economy, positioning Tyrol as a location, supporting business set-up and expansion and granting funding for measures in the specified fields
- Advice, preparation of processes and ongoing monitoring of support measures relating to business development in the state of Tyrol
- Support during the application and implementation phase for federal and EU support programmes, especially in the fields of research, technology and innovation
- Support for potential entrepreneurs during the business start-up phase
Standortagentur Tirol processes the following personal data, where required to fulfil its activities:
a) from service promoters and service beneficiaries: identification data, contactability data, company data, project data, permissions data, payment data
b) from those interested in setting up or expanding a company: identification data, contactability data, company data, project data
c) from members of company networks: identification data, contactability data, company data, project data
d) from competitors: identification data, contactability data, company data, project data
e) from potential entrepreneurs: identification data, contactability data, company data, project data.

Identification data is classed as
a) for natural persons, the surname and first name, gender, date of birth, any academic titles, professional titles and other titles
b) for legal entities and partnerships, the legal, statutory or corporate signatory name and concerning the authorised representative bodies, data in accordance with lit.a, the company register number, register of associations number, VAT ID number and reference number in the supplementary register.
Contactability data is classed as residence and other address data, telephone number, electronic contact details (in particular email address and fax number) and availability details.
Company details are classed as business indicators, legal form and corporate description.
Standortagentur Tirol transmits the following data:
a) data from service promoters and service beneficiaries for the purpose of processing and monitoring services, avoiding duplication and checking its own awarding of services to the Office of the Tyrolean State Government, federal government authorities, European Commission and other bodies involved with services for the same purpose
b) data from members of company networks for the purpose of collaborating with other members in company networks
c) in order to meet contractual or legal obligations, Standortagentur Tirol may be required to forward customer data to processors. These processors will process the customer’s personal data as instructed and only to the extent required to complete the activity in question
Processors may include tax advisors or other external service companies etc. In all cases, Standortagentur Tirol will only transmit personal data to recipients within the European Union or countries whereby the EU Commission has decided that they have an appropriate level of data protection in place.
Standortagentur Tirol is required to delete data following completion of the activity in question after a period of seven years at the latest, unless the data will be required for completion of other tasks by Standortagentur Tirol.
The lawfulness of the data processing is based on art. 6 section 1 lita,b, c, e and f of the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO).
Processing takes place as follows
a) as part of a consent process (art. 6 section 1 lit a DSGVO),
b) for the fulfilment of a contract (art. 6 section 1 lit b DSGVO),
c) where required for the fulfilment of a legal obligation (art. 6 section 1 lit c DSGVO),
d) where required for carrying out a task transmitted to Standortagentur Tirol and falling within the public interest
e) where otherwise required to protect the legitimate interests of Standortagentur Tirol or a third party (art. 6 section 1 lit f DSGVO)
Standortagentur Tirol, for its own advertising purposes and in accordance with § 107 of the Telecommunications Act (TKG) and art. 6 section 1 lit f of the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO), processes data relating to a company, title, first name and surname, postal address, email address, telephone number and company data in summarised lists and uses this data to send out interesting information about the services and offers of Standortagentur Tirol by post or by email.
The protection of personal data takes place through organisational and technical provisions. These provisions relate, in particular, to protection from illegal, unlawful and accidental access, processing, loss, use and manipulation. Regardless of the observance of an appropriate standard of care at all times, it cannot be ruled out that personal data relating to individuals may be seen and used. Standortagentur Tirol, as always, accepts no liability whatsoever for the disclosure of information due to data transfer errors not caused by Standortagentur Tirol and/or unauthorised access by third parties (e.g. hacking of email account or telephone).
The customer always has the right to be informed of any data stored about them by Standortagentur Tirol, of data portability and, where relevant, of the right to amend or delete data or to limit the processing of data. An objection to the processing of data may be lodged with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (www.dsb.gv.at) or the relevant national data protection regulatory authority.

Matomo (PIWIK)
Standortagentur Tirol uses the analysis service Matomo (formerly Piwik) on its websites – a service which enables the analysis of website usage. The information is only used to analyse the use of the website and anonymised evaluations and graphics are compiled relating to the number of visits, number of pages accessed per visitor etc. Standortagentur Tirol uses this data exclusively for its own market research purposes and in particular to optimise its web pages and design them in line with requirements.
