Federal programmes

Standortagentur Tirol provides preliminary information on selected federal funding programmes. We are the regional contact for COMET, the competence centre programme provided by the Austrian government.

The Austrian Research Promotion Agency (Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft FFG) has established itself as a national funding agency for business-related research in Austria with its services: it supports Austrian companies, research institutes and researchers with a comprehensive range of funding programmes and services and represents Austrian interests at a European and international level.

Austria Wirtschaftsservice Gesellschaft mbH (aws) is the federal government's development and financing bank. Low interest loans, subsidies and guarantees help companies implement their innovative projects, especially when the necessary funds cannot be completely raised with other kinds of financing.
