Unternehmen werden bei innovativen Pro-
duktentwicklungen entlang der Wertschöp-
fungskette begleitet und beim Einstieg in diese
Wachstumsbranche unterstützt.
Für den TIS innovation park ist dieses Branchen-
verzeichnis ein wichtiges Instrument, um vorhan-
dene Exzellenzen und Know-how imMedizinsek-
tor nach außen sichtbar machen zu können. Denn
Innovationsprojekte in diesem Sektor können nur
dann angeregt werden, wenn man auch außer-
halb Südtirols zur Kenntnis nimmt, dass es in
Südtirol Unternehmen gibt, die in Bereichen wie
Robotik, Rehabilitationstechnologien, Biomedizin
oder Zahntechnik – um nur einige zu nennen - im
internationalen Wettbewerb mithalten können.
Zudem hat Südtirol mit der Europäischen Akade-
mie in Bozen einen wichtigen Forschungspartner
für die Bereiche Biomedizin, Anthropologie,
Paläopathologie und Genetik sowie alpine
Notfallmedizin.
Die Voraussetzungen, Unternehmen in diesem
hochkomplexen und zukunftsfähigen Wirtschafts-
sektor zu gründen, zu vernetzen und bei der
Produktentwicklung zu begleiten, sind also außer-
ordentlich gut und darum ist es uns im TIS ein
wichtiges Anliegen, den Sektor Medizintechnik –
wo immer möglich – mit Services voranzubringen.

growth sector.
For the TIS innovation park, this sector direc-
tory is a key instrument in presenting and
spotlighting existing expertise and excellence
in the medical sector. Innovative projects in
this sector can only then be initiated if others
outside of South Tyrol are aware that companies
exist in South Tyrol which are competitive at
an international level in fields such as robotics,
rehabilitation technology, biomedicine or dental
technology to name but a few.
Furthermore, with the European Academy in
Bozen, South Tyrol has a key research partner in
the areas of biomedicine, anthropology, pala-
eopathology and genetics, as well as in Alpine
emergency medicine.
The conditions for founding companies in this
highly complex, viable, sustainable business
sector, for networking them and for supporting
them in the development of their products, are
outstandingly good and, therefore, offering
services – wherever possible - to promote the
medical technology sector is a matter of high
importance for us here in the TIS.
